Gotshell (a.k.a. Alessan Main) is widely regarded as one of the key ambassadors of Colombia’s electronic music scene, with a career defined by uncompromising sound design and a deep connection to the roots of techno.
 

Since his debut release on the legendary imprint Planet Rhythm in 2014, Gotshell has built an extensive catalog with releases on some of the most respected labels in the global underground, including Axis (Jeff Mills’ label), MORD, Detroit Underground, Be As One, BPitch, Dynamic Reflection, Symbolism, Suara, EPM Music, Quartz, and Faut Section, among others. His productions and remixes have also appeared on seminal platforms such as Synewave and Missile Records, earning support from leading figures in the scene.
 

Under his alias Alessan Main, his work gained further recognition when he was signed by Carl Cox to Intec, as well as through collaborations with Dantiez Saunderson on KMS Records, the iconic label founded by Kevin Saunderson.
 

Gotshell’s sonic identity is rooted in unpredictable rhythms, chaotic structures, and psychedelic textures, blending the spirit of old-school techno with forward-thinking influences from IDM, ambient, experimental, and dub. This unique approach has shaped a powerful live performance style that resonates across diverse audiences.
 

He has performed at some of the world’s most respected venues and events, including Berghain and Tresor in Berlin, and has toured extensively throughout Europe and Asia. His international presence also includes performances in Russia and at the iconic Lantern Club in China.
